    Just to clarify: The guy isn’t wrong or anything, but his wording is really funny. He isn’t saying that the speed you hit the cue ball is going to affect the angle of the object ball. He is trying to say that when using English, the speed you choose affects where the cue ball will hit the object ball. At faster speeds, the cue ball has less time to react to English, so it becomes more like a dead on shot.

    Just thought I’d clarify since I misunderstood him in the beginning as well.

    english is the spin you put on the ball. its adjusted by where you hit the cue ball.

    I must say, i’ve watched tons of expert village vids on pool, and not a single one has been without major flaws, except this one. Finally a guy that understands ‘side’ or english.
