@PeacemakerJP86 In British and Australian English, “billiards” usually refers exclusively to the game of English billiards, while in *American and Canadian English* it is sometimes used to refer to a particular game or class of games, or to all cue games in general, depending upon dialect and context.
    *which means nothing…

that guy is a idiot! depends where the balls are,and a big factor, how true the rails are ,the felt ,even the balls are a factor etc ………just get a feel for the table before you play those shots….

It’s true. You can clearly see that he over cuts it that second time.

    useless stuff really.

try this when the ball is 2 inches from the rail and you are going to bank it.

These are good tips and all, but if your techniques really work, you shouldn’t have to edit your footage so the ball actually makes it in the pocket.

I believe your argumentation about “half-angle” is wrong. The simplest counter-argument is as follows: assume the yellow ball is placed exactly at the upper-right corner of the table as seen in your video. Then an angle you measure would be 45 degrees and half-angle is 22.5 degrees. This is a wrong aim – in fact you need to make a use of a 30 degrees angle, so that the ball hits the opposite rail exactly in the middle between two pockets.
